Enron corruption lives on

Todays paper says that the federal energy regulatory commission, which employs former enroners itself, wants to suppress all enron tapes, emails and documents as part of bankruptcy settlement.

Now how in the hell can they argue that is in the public’s interest? Its funny how even in the midst of the enron ceo trial, the govt can get away with this.

Ill just repeat that we all get what we deserve and if we are willing to accept this corruption, we deserve it. Sent wirelessly via BlackBerry from T-Mobile.

  1. Yeah, but look at it this way: if you doubt the government, you are by definition “with them” and “against us” so it’s not really a choice of “getting what we deserve” or “not accepting corruption.”
It’s *their game* and they get to make the rules. The only way to get out from under the corruption is to get rich enough to do something about it. That’s the nature of things. Find a way to subvert the dominant paradigm and all that.
